Enpro modified the mechanical and control system design to re-route piping, reduce space requirements and upgrade instrumentation and control system specifications for an underground storage tank (UST) and day-tank system. The UST supplied fuel to an emergency generator located inside the City Hall building. Enpro's project manager observed construction activities during the former UST removal, new UST installation, integrity testing of UST and piping, monitoring and control system testing and system startup. Enpro prepared documents required for system commissioning including monitoring procedures, emergency response plan, UST permits and a report of activities. Enpro prepared an Operation and Maintenance Manual for City personnel describing O&M for the UST, day-tank and associated control and monitoring systems. The system was commissioned successfully on time and within budget.
